Flowerfield Compost Tea contains no chemicals, mineral salts or fertilizers so plants will not be harmed by any amount applied. It can be beneficial used full strength as a foliar application or diluted for a soil drench. For foliar application use a hand held or backpack sprayer to generously coat undersides as well as the tops of leaves. For a soil drench five gallons of compost tea can be mixed with unchlorinated water to treat a 1/4 acre lawn. Water can easily be dechlorinated by aerating or allowing it to sit with occasional stirring until the chlorine evaporates.
