Joanne Olszewski aka Wormwoman 2.0
Joanne is the co-author of the 35th anniversary edition of Worms Eat My Garbage. A close friend of the book’s original author, Mary Appelhof (1936–2005), Olszewski is a fellow vermi-enthusiast. A former middle school science teacher and later a tax accountant, she is the owner of Worm Woman Inc. The company manufactures and sells the Worm-A-Way worm bin. The bin which was patented by Mary is ideal for use in the classroom. It is Joanne’s hope that she can change the world a dozen worm bins at a time. She lives in Northwest Arkansas and is a land steward in the Ozarks and is known as Worm Woman 2.0. you can reach Joanne at “Joanne@wormwoman.com”
Working from home, clearing our calendars and self isolating has allowed some of us to finish projects and start new ones. The North West Arkansas Community College decided to offer ten free online classes the summer of 2020 for those of us who wanted to learn more about using social media. Joanne is busy learning Word Press. Always challenging but very rewarding the result will be an updated website for Worm Woman. More is coming.
